Michelle Obama claimed best-dressed

Journalists nowadays are focusing more and more on fashion. At first, it was Sarah Palin's rimless, designer glasses. Now, it is focused on what Michelle Obama is wearing.

Obama is claimed to be one of the the best-dressed woman there is. For the second year in a row, she has made the Vanity Fair's International Best-Dressed List. It is claimed that her best dress was the purple one she wore last month, according to Fine Collins in the article found at MSNBC.com.

The question is though, do people really care what kind of dress Obama is wearing? If I was to answer the question, it would be no. The gossip on what celebrities are wearing does not matter to me.

To me, writing about this and showing viewers what celebrities wear is just something journalists are using to fill in gaps. To get more stories they just write about the obvious. Yes, I know Palin wears glasses, and yes Obama may have a nice dress, but it isn't worth publishing.
