Obama Overexposed?

Last week we heard President Obama's opinion on the Kanye West and Taylor Swift incident at the 2009 VMA awards, this week Drew Westen of CNNPolitics.com reports that Obama may be overexposed. Westen focuses on Obama's healthcare plan and process for introducing it to the public, but the headline makes you wonder about the broad scope.
The two topics I noted above are very different in importance but receive about the same press time in the media. In my opinion, I feel like there is more interest in what Obama will have to say about Serena Williams' outburst at the U.S. Open rather than what he plans to do with our nations future.

I do agree that the media over exposes Obama with things that dont really matter, like the Kanye comment. However since the president is the most high profile individual in the media he has to realize that someone will put what he says in the news. I feel it was kind of obvious Kanye planned to do it because the amount of media he recieved after the incident was rediculous.
I believe there is a lot of emphasis on Obama's opinion because he is the President. I feel the media focuses on what Obama thinks of Kanye West compared to his values of a new health care plan. The priorities of the media need to be straight. I think it says a lot about the media industry and what is believed to be important these days.
